Pandemonium as armed robbers invade Resorts in Mararaba

Hotels from the suburbs of Nasarawa State might no more be safe for people who intend to devote their yuletide violate as men of the underworld have devised a fresh way of tracing their sufferers to resort premises to dispose of their possessions.

Guests and staff of a popular resort located on Abacha street, Mararaba had a dreadful experience Wednesday night as suspected armed robbers invaded its assumptions and headed directly to rooms where guests lodged and began banging on the doors.

According to an eyewitness, the guys that were believed to have driven to the resort assumptions in a Keke Napep with no safety stopping them in the gate swung into action after spending approximately half an hour inside strategizing.

Their activities sparked the attention of the hotel management that consequently increased an alert triggering a panic moment which saw employees and people who came to appreciate themselves scrambling for security with a few scaling throughout the fence.

It required the boldness of a few of the resort employees who faced the four armed men who had threatened to bring down the resort to stop the tragedy.

They allegedly took to their heels when an emerging audience seemed to have overpowered them together with every one of them leaping on a bike away from the resort gate to escape prior to the coming of Authorities.

In an interview with our correspondent, a few of the eyewitnesses recounted how a similar episode was listed in a resort in Nyanya about a week ago and yet another in Ungwar Zamani, Mararaba a couple of days back, where lives have been lost to the assault.

All attempts to talk to all the Nasarawa State police control on the episode were futile.
