Tame Insecurity Now, Rotimi Akeredolu appears to IGP, service chiefs

Ondo State Governor Rotimi Akeredolu on Tuesday charged the Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu and the service chiefs to discover a lasting solution to insecurity.

Akeredolu, while appearing Politics Today, urged them to behave swiftly and decisively to deal with the situation.

He stated: “They must take necessary steps now, this can be a critical matter, and I believe the IGP, all the service chiefs and co are probably, in a single place or the other, meeting so that solutions can come to this problem.”

Akeredolu, who is also the chairman of Southwest Governors’ Forum, also stated it was high time for state police.
