Former Minister of Information, Professor Jerry Gana and other leading political leaders on Saturday joined the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
The defection happened in the North Central Zonal Congress of the party Happening at Makurdi, Benue State.
Others who joined the opposition party were Barrister Humphrey Abah, Ambassador Mrs Esther Audu and Hon Adakole Ijogi.

The defectors were obtained into the PDP by the leader of this party in the North Central Zone, Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State.
Professor Jerry Gana who spoke on behalf of the defectors said PDP will recover power in all the countries of the North Central Zone now being ruled by the APC and Nigeria at large.
