This declaration formed a portion of the reaction of the Osun State Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola during a familiarization visit of this newest Assistant Inspector General in charge of Zone XI Command, Osogbo, AIG Olasupo Babatunde Ajani to the Government House, Oke-Fia, Osogbo.
Oyetola assured him of his support to the Nigerian Police through the supply of logistics and other essential items when needed.
Before, AIG Ajani had assured his officers and men could authorities with all the people and not policing the people of the nation, including that this was in compliance with the policing plan of the Acting Inspector General of Police, Alkali Baba Usman.

This is as he promised to restore the virtues of community policing and build a fantastic synergy with other security agencies to make Osun State a safe haven.
Ajani stated that his purpose behind the trip was to appreciate the governor and the citizens of the state for accommodating and encouraging the Nigerian police.
While providing a vote of thanks, the Commissioner of Police, Osun State Command, CP Olawale Olokode thanked the Governor for his continued support and audience to the authorities.
