The Governor of Osun State, Adegboyega Oyetola has clarified the late human rights activist and National Publicity Secretary of Afenifere, Comrade Yinka Odumakin within an illustrious son of the State who has abandoned humanity with a heritage of inspirational service, fierce loyalty to the Yoruba race along with constant contributions to the quest for a greater nation.
The Governor said this Saturday morning throughout the funeral ceremony for Odumakin, that held at the premises of this Origbo Anglican Grammar School, Moro, Ife North local government council area.
While describing him as a phenomenal boss that without holding public office impacted Nigerians in a unique way, Oyetola affirmed that Odumakin’s death was one too many.
“It is still a stressful time for us all especially his loved ones.

“We are pained by the death of a person who lived for the people. But we must find comfort in the phenomenal lifestyle he lived.
“We are really grateful for his life and pray God Almighty to grant his loved ones and all us the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss. May his spirit rest in excellent peace”, he added.
Yinka Odumakin’s remains had arrived Osun from Lagos on Friday 23rd of April, 2021, where it was received at Asejire town by a delegation of the Osun State Government, headed by the Chief Of Staff to the Governor, Dr. Charles Akinola.
