Over 70 people have sustained various degrees of injuries after a gas tanker burst on Saturday, May 22 at Kano.
In accordance with TheNation, the incident occurred at the Al-Ihsan filling station at Sharada at Kano Municipal Area of Kano State, TheNation is reporting.
Spokesman of the Kano Fire Service, Malam Saminu Abdullahi, who confirmed the incident in an announcement on Sunday, said that the fire happened if the tanker was offloading oil products in the station.
He added that from the injured victims, eight fire service employees were involved, including that no life was missing. On the other hand, the state commissioner for works, Idris Unguwar Rimi, attributed the incident to the neglect of the filling station.
