Ebonyi State Governor David Umahi has dissolved this cabinet.
Ugbala said only 23 from the 106 members of this council was kept, at the dissolution, which he explained is the initial stage.
He explained the Governor chose so as to reorganize the council to get optimum performance.
This is the first time Governor Umahi has dissolved his cabinet because he took over power in 2015.

The Secretary to the State authorities, Dr Kenneth Ugbala; Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice,” Barr Cletus Ofoke; His Special Assistant on Media, Francis Nwaze, were one of those retained.
