Bianca Ojukwu, the late Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu’s wife, has stated that she was not present at the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) campaign flag-off in Awka, Anambra State’s capital, at the weekend to protest alleged ill-treatment of her late husband by the party’s leadership.
Charles Soludo, the APGA’s governorship candidate in Anambra State for the November 6, 2021 election, and his running mate, Ifeanyi Ibezim, kicked off their campaign in Awka’s Ekwueme Square without Bianca Ojukwu.
Bianca explained her absence from the flag-raising campaign as a protest against the party’s leadership’s alleged unfair treatment of her late husband.

“Ojukwu should not be treated like a light switch that is turned on for a party’s election campaign and then turned off once the election is won,” she stated.
Mr C-Don Adinuba, Director Media, Soludo Governorship Campaign Organization, reacted by saying he was confident the widow had no animosity toward Soludo and would soon join the campaign ahead of the election.
