Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State has been supported for a second term by the Ogun Elders Advisory Council.
Chairman of the council. Oluleye Okuboyejo, who made the announcement at the Oba’s Complex in Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, said Abiodun deserved another four years in office because of the state’s historic achievements.
He said the governor had proven himself to be a wonderful marketer of the state in terms of increasing investment and ease over the last three years.
“Governor Abiodun has been systematic in shaping the policy agenda around ‘ISEYA,’ and his marketing savvy is credited with the increase in the state’s internally generated revenue.

“Even the governor’s most ardent adversaries have commended the governor’s smooth delivery of the social compact elements that could be observed across the state.”
“We publicly support our indefatigable governor’s bid for a second term.
“I was sworn in as governor on Wednesday, May 29, 2019, and my current term will end on Sunday, May 28, 2023.
“We can’t help but applaud the rise in the ease of doing business index, which has benefited international and domestic investment in our state tremendously.” Your Excellency has demonstrated that you are an excellent marketer for our state, as seen by the increase in our internally generated revenue,” he continued.
The council chairman, on the other hand, praised Abiodun for completing projects left over from the previous government as well as those currently underway in the state.

The real selling point for this administration is proof that projects left over from past administrations have been finished and improved as needed.
