On Friday afternoon, Spanal, a notorious thug in Osun, was killed in Oke-Ijetu, Ilesa-garage area of Osogbo.
Spanal was a close ally of Kazeem Oyewale, the Chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) branch in Osogbo (Asiri Eniba).
Spanal was killed along with his 7-year-old daughter Fatia.
According to reports, Spanal was murdered a few hours after his wife was put to bed on Friday.
The unidentified gunmen allegedly attacked and shot him at his first wife’s shop in Ilesa Garage.
“He was running away with blood while they followed him and shot him dead. Bullet hit his daughter and she was rushed to the hospital before they broke the news of the death of the daughter too.”
