Buckingham Palace has announced that Queen Elizabeth II will be laid to rest on September 19.
Late Queen Elizabeth II, was the longest-serving monarch. She died at Balmoral aged 96, after reigning for 70 years.
Many dignitaries and prominent figures from around the world have paid glowing tributes to the late monarch.
Meanwhile, on Saturday, King Charles III was formally proclaimed as the United Kingdom’s new monarch.

According to Buckingham Palace, Queen Elizabeth II’s state funeral will take place in London on Monday, Sept. 19, at 11 a.m.
The late monarch’s coffin will lie in state in Westminster Hall beginning Wednesday, allowing the public to pay their respects.
It is expected that either the Dean of Westminster or the Archbishop of Canterbury, the senior bishop of the Church of England, will lead the service.
