Nigeria and the French Development Agency, AFD, signed a 25 million Euro grant for the Northern Corridor Project to increase power supply in the country on Wednesday.
According to the Nigerian News Agency, the Northern Corridor Project is co-funded by the European Union and AFD, and is being implemented by the Transmission Company of Nigeria, TCN.

The project aims to strengthen West African low-carbon economic growth by improving the quality of Nigeria’s electricity network and supporting the development of a regional electricity market under the West African Power Pool.
