There was pandemonium at Zongon Aya Community, at Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State after the killing of two individuals by gunmen, It was reported.
The gunmen also abducted two additional occupants, including the spouse of an ex-Lawmaker, when they stormed town located along Kaduna- Zaria Highway about 11:15 pm Thursday.
A resident of the area, recognized as Kawu, gave the names of those murdered as Salihu Alhaji and Falalu while those abducted were Sallau Dan Albarka, a businessman as well as the spouse of the ex-lawmaker.

He said those murdered went after the gunmen to rescue those abducted but were ambushed in a village called Tumbau and murdered while the third individual who took them on his motorcycle, named Mas’ud, was shot in the gut but did not expire as at the time of filing the report.
“The gunmen came about 11:15 pm and started shooting sporadically in the community, residing two individuals killed and abducted two others among them the spouse of an ex-Lawmaker in the nation,” he explained.
The performance by the gunmen lasted for almost three hours unchallenged as residents could not sleep as a result of the sound of gunshots in the community.
When contacted, the State Command’s Public Relations Officer, ASP Mohammed Jalige, guaranteed to get more details from the Maraban Jos Divisional Police Office prior to comment but did not call back as at the time of filing the report.
