David Music Worldwide signee, Peruzzi, has shown that he’s not been to church since he met his boss, Davido, but believes in God.
Peruzzi disclosed this while talking on Joey Akan’s’Afrobeats Intelligence’ in which he also spoke about his days as a keyboardist and chorister.
“I have not gone to church because I met David.
“I’ve always seen myself as a celebrity before I met anyone in this industry, I used to behave like folks are seeing me’ I didn’t have any drip, but I would be sure that I’m not wearing any imitation Gucci, I am not wearing any imitation Versace.
“I am wearing a plain white shirt. I had my way that I’m going to be something. I didn’t understand how, but I knew, ‘man, I’m going to be something.’ I was already acting like I was. When David met me, I was branding myself already.
“He knew there was a tide. It has been like that since I always felt like if you know you want to get somewhere, simply begin preparing yourself for it. [It] wasn’t actually fake-fake, ’cause I didn’t rock any fake sh*t. However, I faked being a star.”

The singer who said he doesn’t plan to stay a singer eternally disclosed that he sees himself settling with his family in California in the next six decades.
He said, “Like my mum used to say even if you no longer know where you dey come out of, no matter where you dey go. I feel like you can not simply be existing. You have to be living. In the sense that, you have to be about something.
“And me, I have always understood where I want to be, I can tell you where I wish to settle down; Malibu, California. I only want to be there smoking my weed in like six years from now with my wife and also my two children.
“I know everything I need in this lifetime. I understand because I feel like you’re supposed to know. Otherwise, why are you currently living? Why are you working? Why am I singing? Am I singing because I would like to be singing indefinitely?
“I can’t be singing forever now. I am singing because after singing, I must do something. I must be someplace.
“I must say yes, this is exactly what my life was to be.’ It’d be no use for me living if I do not have a destination.”
