The lawmaker was suspended from the All Progressives Congress (APC) for allegedly insulting the Jigawa State Governor, Muhammad Badaru Abubakar in a social media article on Facebook.
It is understood that Kazaure accused Governor Badaru of nominating chairmen and councillors candidates to the coming local government elections without primaries or some other consensus as guided by the party constitution.
Naija News understands the letter which conveyed Kazaure’s suspension noted that the legislator is going to be suspended by the party for the first period of six weeks to permit investigation into the topic.
According to the letter, the national lawmaker made an injurious post on his Facebook and Twitter handle contrary to the nation Governor which is contrary to article 21(ii) and (v) of this APC constitution.

He also clarified that the lawmaker had previously been frozen for the same offence by celebration executives of the ward, Yamma.
Hassan noted a seven-man Disciplinary Committee was set up to investigate the allegations and report back within ten days however, the lawmaker will remain suspended pending the outcome of the investigations.
