Two infamous bandits, Dullu and Dan Maigari, as well as 15 others, were killed in an attack by a notorious bandit, Bello Turji, on another bandit group based in Shinkafi Local Government Area of Zamfara State.
Tuesday morning saw a bloodbath between the two sides.
According to a source, the recent brawl between the two infamous gangs was sparked by the death of Na-Sanda, a bandit kingpin on Turji’s side.
Turji gathered loyalists and launched an unexpected attack on the rival gang’s Maniya hideouts, killing some of the gang’s members, including Dullu himself and Dan Maigari, a younger brother of Bashari Maniy, a well-known bandit turned intermediary, according to the source.

According to the source, gunmen were seen fleeing the onslaught by crossing the Moriki-Shinkafi Road from Maniya to Sububu Forest.
Turji allegedly kidnapped some men from the area, but he later killed them, according to him, and Dullu’s body and the bodies of others were left at his base.
“Turji is thought to have lost some men,” the source said. Some of them have returned with bullet wounds, according to the source.
The Zamfara Police Command’s spokesman, SP Shehu Mohammed, was unable to confirm the incident when contacted on his phone.
