Godwin Emefiele, the governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), has chosen the All Progressives Congress (APC) nomination form to run for president in 2023.
Emefiele chose the form on Friday and will announce his decision on Saturday.
Emefiele’s associates allegedly paid N100 million for nomination and expression of interest forms on Friday at the International Conference Center in Abuja, where the forms were sold.

Recall that Vice President Yemi Osinbajo Wednesday also picked his form to contest the 2023 presidential election.
His spokesman, Laolu Akande, stated that the funds were raised by a “passionate team of support groups and individual Nigerians from across the country.”
