Anthony Usihe, a generator engineer, was trapped in a diesel reservoir on BUK Road at Kofar Dan Agundi in Kano Municipal Local Government Area of Kano State and died as a result. Anthony was 37 years old.
Saminu Yusif Abdullahi, a spokesman for the Kano State Fire Service, described the incident by saying that a rescue team was dispatched to the scene after receiving a distress call from Sergeant Salisu Inuwa of the Sharada Police Division, and that they discovered a man trapped in a diesel reservoir.

The engineer, according to Yusif, was discovered unconscious in the diesel tank of a generator set that powers a service antenna, but he later passed away.
No one claimed to have seen the man before the incident, so an investigation had begun, he said, adding that “His remains have been handed over to Sergeant Salisu Inuwa of Sharada Police Division.”
