The Adamawa State Police Command has deployed 1,207 personnel to secure citizens over the span of the Sallah celebration.
The personnel are to boost visibility policing throughout the 21 local government regions of the State and protect against crime while individuals go about feasting at the soul of the year.

“The CP enjoins citizens to do the parties without any fear or apprehension,” the police statement said.
It added that the Divisional Police officers (DPOs), Operational Commanders and their supervisory Area commanders were directed to ensure the safety and security of the general public.
“The Strategic Officers will strengthen the visibility policing construction and carry out confidence-building patrols especially about residential areas, major highways and Government/Private infrastructures to stop and detain any ugly scenario,” he added.
