Members of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN), popularly known as Shiites, clashed with the Police in Abuja on Tuesday evening.
The clash occurred near Transcorp Hilton in Abuja.
One person has been reported dead and an unspecified number of people injured.

The IMN has been calling for the release of its leader Ibrahim El-Zakzaky.
A similar protest occurred on Monday also in Abuja.
The police arrested five persons for “attacking personnel and citizens”.
