THE All Progressives Congress (APC) is set to come back to the trenches regardless of the allure by President Muhammadu Buhari to aggrieved chieftains to bury their differences and work together with the interim national committee.

Former national vice chairman (South South) of this celebration, Hilliard Etagboeta, has filed a lawsuit before the Federal High Court in Abuja to find the dissolution of their celebration’s Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee headed by Yobe State governor, Malam Mai Mala Buni. Etagboeta had emerged as factional behaving federal chairman of the celebration after the ouster of this celebration’s erstwhile national chairman, Adams Oshiomhole, with a pronouncement of this courtroom.

His claim to the workplace together with former deputy national secretary, Victor Giadom, directed to last June’s dissolution of the APC National Working Committee from the party’s National Executive Committee in a crisis meeting held in the Presidential Villa, Abuja. Etagboeta, who’s the plaintiff in the lawsuit filed by his own counsel, Chief Onyechi Ikpeazu (SAN), is looking for an order of this court setting apart and nullifying the constitution and appointment of their APC caretaker committee by its NEC.

Defendants in the lawsuit would be the committee’s chairman, Malam Buni along with his secretary, Senator John Akpan Udoedehe as first and second defendants. The lawsuit includes the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) as sixth suspect.

Also contained in the Truth of the plaintiff before the court are: “An order of perpetual injunction restraining the defendants, acting independently or through their servants and agents, from continued to carry out, gift and parade themselves because of the caretaker/extraordinary convention planning committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) or by taking any measures at all as National Chairman, National Secretary or members respectively from their caretaker/extraordinary seminar planning committee of their progressives congress (APC).
