Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, the governor of Rivers State, has dissolved his cabinet, according to reports.
The state executive council has been dissolved by the fiery governor, with immediate effect. The Chief of Staff to the Governor and Senior Special Assistant (Protocol) have both been relieved of their duties, according to a statement signed by Kelvin Ebiri, Wike’s special assistant on media.

“His Excellency, Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, commends the members of the Rivers State Executive Council for their dedication to the state’s development.” He also wished them luck in their future endeavours.”
“All former members of the State Executive Council have been instructed by Governor Wike to hand over to the most senior officers in their respective ministries.”
