Council meets for a retreat

A two-day management retreat was held by the Ibeju-Lekki Local Government to strategize on how to move the council forward.

Tagged: Roadmap to Ibeju-Lekki of Our Dream, Sesan Olowa, the chairman of the council, Abdullahi, presented his strategic development priorities.

According to him, the country’s economic situation forced the council to look inward in order to generate enough Internally Generated Revenue (IGR).

No council, according to Olowa, should rely solely on federal funding to run the council and provide basic infrastructure to residents. He urged participants to devise dynamic but friendly policies in order to achieve the desired outcome.
