The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced it listed yet another death in the past 24 hours.
The health agency said the entire amount of deaths from the disease in Nigeria now stands at 2,066.
It also reported 44 new cases of this virus, bringing the total number of diseases in the country to 165,559.
The new cases were reported in four states.

Akwa-Ibom and Ekiti States reported one case each.
According to the public health agency, the country’s active instances stand at 7,092.
NCDC also stated that it has analyzed 1,977,479 people because the virus hit Nigeria on Feb. 27, 2020.
