Deborah Samuel was brutally murdered, according to the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN).
For “blasphemy,” a 200-level student at Shehu Shagari College of Education in Sokoto State was slain.
CAN prayed on Friday that “vampires dressed in religious garb will not lead the country into a religious war.”
The General Secretary, Joseph Daramola, stated that the killers’ actions must be condemned by all right-thinking people.

Security services were ordered by the Christian leadership to arrest all individuals who took part in the deed.
The failure of security forces and the government to respond to such crimes in the past, according to CAN, is what gave rise to terrorists and bandits.
The group stated that as long as the government fails to bring creatures to justice, society would continue to be a killing ground for them.
The Sultan of Sokoto, Muhammadu Sa’ad Abubakar, reacted quickly, according to CAN.
“We want the State Governor, Aminu Tambuwal, to ensure that the subject is not pushed under the rug, as it was previously,” the statement stated.

The statement challenged religious intolerance, extremism, and terrorism preachers to repent before God’s vengeance falls on them.
“We recall the Sterling Bank’s inflammatory and degrading advertising in which the bank compared Jesus Christ’s Resurrection to “Agege bread.”
“No one has been attacked so yet, and even the CAN leadership has accepted its Chief Executive, Abubakar Suleiman’s, apology.”
Killing in the name of blasphemy for any God is immoral, devilish, foolish, repulsive, and absolutely wrong, according to CAN.
