FG begins investigation that killed the Chief of Army Staff and others 10 officers

The Federal Government has started investigation into the atmosphere crash which killed the Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Ibrahim Attahiru along with other officers.

Hadi Sirika, the Minister of Aviation, said the analysis would be completed in combination with the army.

A military airplane carrying Attahiru and 10 other officers had crashed on Friday in Kaduna.

The Army Chief and his entourage were on an official trip to Kaduna when the aircraft has been crashed in the Kaduna International Airport.

All dead passengers were then hauled back to Abuja and buried in the military cemetery.

But, Serika commiserated with President Muhammadu Buhari and the Country at large.

At a tweet, the Minister wrote: “With heavy heart, we in Civil Aviation commiserate together with the Nation and also the C-in-C about the NAF aviation crash.

“Investigation has begun now in compliance with our latest MOU with the army. We beg Allah grant mercy to their spirits & will the result prevent future occurrence.”

Meanwhile, some Nigerians have predicted on comprised authorities to probe the origin of the accident that murdered Attahiru along with other officers onboard.
