Emmanuel Omoru, an accountant, is accused of murdering his pregnant wife and hanging her body to fake suicide.
According to reports, the incident occurred on July 16th at their residential home in Omozuise Street, Off Street 2, Lucky Way, Aduwawa, Benin City, after the deceased accused the suspect of having extramarital affairs.

“However, based on what I’ve seen so far, I’d like the Edo State government, the Edo State Police Commission, and other relevant authorities to assist me in questioning my daughter’s husband about what he did to his wife.” My daughter did not kill herself.”
Mr Emmanuel Umoru has been arrested, according to the Public Relations Officer for the Edo State Police Command, SP Chidi Nwabuzor.
“Operators came across the body dangling from a rope tied to a ceiling fan in her bedroom.
“The body was evacuated to our hospital for autopsy and preservation while the preliminary investigation is ongoing.” SP Chidi stated.
