Mrs. Roda Jatau is alleged to have shared a video in a WhatsApp group in which a convert ‘insulted’ the Prophet of Islam, resulting in palpable tension in Bauchi.
According to a source, Mrs. Jatau works for the Bauchi State Primary Health Care and is from Gombe; however, she was married in the Warji local government area of the state.
Muslim youths reportedly began searching for the woman immediately following Jummaat prayers, but were unable to locate her because she had been whisked away to safety, according to Vanguard.

In response, the enraged Muslim youths destroyed Christian property in the area and set a few structures on fire.
It was reported that several Christians, including the pastor of an ECWA church, were injured.
Deborah Samuel, a student at the Shehu Shagari College of Education in Sokoto, was lynched and set on fire by her fellow students for alleged blasphemy.
The state leader of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) said he has informed the police commissioner and the senior special assistant to Governor Bala Mohammed of the development.
He also urged the Christian community in the state not to let the situation deteriorate, despite the fact that they must defend themselves against the attackers.
