Obi urges supporters to be tolerant of other people’s opinions

Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), has urged his supporters to be tolerant of others’ points of view and opinions.

Obi’s call came after the candidate’s recent ‘prayer mat’ campaign, which some Nigerians saw as a display of religious intolerance.

Obi later condemned the development, which he claimed had nothing to do with him or his campaign groups.

The former Anambra state governor appears to have won the youth’s unwavering support in their fight for a new order.

He stated that Nigeria has been pushed to the brink of disaster and requires focused and prudent leadership to avert disaster.

He went on to say that the country must be repositioned so that it consumes what it produces.

In a tweet sent from his verified Twitter account on Sunday, the presidential candidate urged his supporters to be patient as they promote him as the best option in 2023.
