Nasarawa State Police have apprehended twenty-four suspected political thugs.
Keffi Area Command officers apprehended them at Minki Suites on Keffi-Akwanga Road.
Muyiwa Adejobi, a Force spokesman, said in a statement on Tuesday that the suspects were working for a 2023 aspirant.
Adejobi revealed that he ran in the Nasarawa West Senatorial primaries.

After a convoy of seven private vehicles entered the hotel, the police acted based on intelligence.
Eight pump action guns, two locally made revolver guns, 37 rounds of live cartridges, and four bulletproof vests were found.
Other items include twenty-seven mobile phones, two pairs of vigilante uniforms, five cutlasses, and ten knives and charms.
Adejobi went on to say that the thugs “perform their heinous acts while posing as members of the Vigilante Group of Nigeria (VGN).”
