Teen Mom Detained After Trying To Hire Hitman To Kill Her Son

Jazmin Paez, a teen mother, was detained and charged with trying to hire a hitman to kill her 3-year-old son.

Paez, 16, was charged with soliciting murder and illegal use of a communications device when he appeared before a Miami-Dade County judge on Wednesday.

The Miami-Dade police claim that Paez hired a mock hit-for-hire website to help him get the boy “taken away, far, far, far away and possibly killed but ASAP.” She was prepared to spend $3,000, according to the report.

She reportedly said she wanted “to get something done once and for all,” according to the report.

Additionally, according to the police, Paez visited the parody website with her phone number, a recent picture of her son, and the address where he lives with his grandmother. By Thursday, she needed the work finished.

The owner of the website contacted the police, and on Tuesday, detectives got to work. Using the IP address and phone number provided, they located Paez and detained her at her father’s home, where she had been living for months.

Detectives also spoke with the boy’s grandmother, who told them that her daughter left in May. She continued by saying that her grandson still resides with her and frequently FaceTimes his mother.

Paez testified before Miami-Dade County Judge Mindy Glazer that she has never received treatment for any kind of mental illness. A $15,000 bond was set for her. Thursday marked her release from custody.
