Haruna Rugoji, the Managing Director of the Katsina State Transport Authority, who also confirmed the attack, said the gunmen snatched phones and other items from passengers before fleeing the scene.
Rugoji stated, “The conductor of the vehicle who narrated to us what actually happened said none of the passengers were kidnapped by the bandits and we have yet to receive any report that one of the passengers in the vehicle is missing.”
