Following the deadly attack on Sunday night that left several people dead, the Kaduna State Government said on Tuesday that security agencies recovered three more bodies in Zagon Kataf and Kaura LGAs.
According to a statement released on Tuesday by Samuel Aruwan, the Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, state government officials and security agencies visited injured victims in Jos and Kafanchan.
Following the weekend attacks in the villages of Madamai and Kacecere in the Kaura and Zangon Kataf local government areas, security agencies recovered three more bodies on Tuesday, according to Aruwan.
He claimed that two bodies were discovered in Madamai and one in Kacecere.
The search-and-rescue operation, he says, is still ongoing, and the government will keep the public informed.
Meanwhile, a government delegation that visited injured victims in the hospital assured them of the government’s report.

The Commissioner expressed the government’s gratitude for the hospital’s prompt care and attention to the victims and urged the hospital to continue to provide all necessary services, stating that the Kaduna State Government would bear the full cost.
In his response, Prof. Anzaku assured the government that the hospital would do everything possible to help the victims, given their circumstances.
