With a strong and supportive Science department already in place, the school are seeking to appoint, from January 2021, a full-time dynamic teacher of Science. The successful candidate will be teaching general Science to GCSE as well as their subject specialism to A-Level. The appointed person will be fully involved in departmental development, target setting and evaluation of student progress and will possess the following attributes: The role pays to scale based on experience and there is the opportunity to move into a permanent role.

The Science Teacher must:
*Hold QTS Status
*Ideally have previous teaching experience
*Have energy, commitment and creativity
*Be able to engage well with colleagues, children and their parents
*Have a positive attitude
*Have clear and strong written and spoken communication skills
*Be available and willing to commit for the academic year 2020/21
